  • Guided Mural Trolley Tours -The 8-block Main Street Business District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is the background for a fascinating tour through Ashland’s history as seen through the eyes of Ashland’s mural artists Kelly Meredith and Susan Prentice Martinsen. Trolley Tours are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Pick-up Location in the parking lot of the Bay Area Civic Center, 320 4th Ave West. The tour will be approximately 75 minutes long. Tickets are purchased on the Trolley. Cost: $5.00 per person.  Children under 6 are FREE! (Cash only accepted, you pay on the Trolley.)     Copper Falls State Park Fall Festival & Brat Fry.  September colors offer people a chance to enjoy the park’s beauty and experience the fun at the annual Fall Festival on from 10am-3pm. Arts and crafts, raffle, food, entertainment, vendors, children’s activities, and demonstrations. Events are co-sponsored by the Friends of Copper Falls State Park and the Wisconsin DNR. All programs will be held rain or shine and are open to the public. Parked vehicles will need to have purchased either an annual or daily park pass; $8/day for Wisconsin plates or $11/day for out-of-state plates, available at the park office. Pets are not allowed at most program venues. For special accommodations, as needed, contact park staff prior to the program date.  Copper Falls State Park is located near Mellen, Wisconsin.
