#1 The Making of Mellen Mural: 102 Bennett Street.  This mural, painted by Irene Buzzel, depicts a collection of numerous important aspects in the history of Mellen since its founding in 1886. Logging and the resulting wood industry was the main reason the city was established and remains to this day.
