Follow the Mural Brick Road
Historic Murals of Ashland County Wisconsin
Follow the Mural Brick Road is a fun promotion bringing attention to the numerous beautiful public murals depicting actual people, places, and events from Ashland County’s rich history. From Butternut in southern Ashland County to Madeline Island in northern Ashland County. Ashland County has become a public art destination that is not weather-dependent. Our vibrant murals can be seen 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!
The fall season in Ashland is the most beautiful, stark, remarkable viewing to behold out of the four seasons. The striking colors of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest and the Chequamegon Bay shoreline along with the natural beauty of several state parks make Ashland County the place to be any time of year, but especially in the fall.
