4th of July Celebrations

Happy 4^th of July!!

Stipes Carnival will be at the Bay Area Civic Center Parking Lot  June 28-30, 2024

July 4:  Independence Day Activites!

• Salute at 6am
• The Lions club will be on the courthouse lawn cooking brats during the parade.
• GFWC Ashland Monday Club will be selling lemonade and cookies at Menard Park from 10am until the end of the parade.
• Fly over approximately 10:45am
• PARADE on Main Street at 11am.   Click here for a Parade Form
• Upper 13 league Baseball Game- Washburn Sharptails vs Merchants at 2pm at Pufall Field.
• Cementery Walk at Mount Hope Cemetery 2-4pm.  Rain alternate will be Saron Lutheran Church Social Hall.
• Ashland City Band at the Mesang Band Shell 8pm.
• Fire Run on Main Street (9:30pm)
• Fireworks Display (10pm) from the Oredock.

The parade will take place at 11am on Main Street in Ashland, WI
Stop and pick up your number and map at Beaser Ave and Main Street starting at 10am

  A Full Day of Events:  The Madeline Island 4th of July celebration starts at 10:30am with a parade that includes entries from firetrucks and ambulances to family reunion marching units.  Following the parade, there is a program on the village green in front of the Madeline Island Museum which includes the band, a choir, group singing of patriotic songs and speeches appropriate to the occasion. This is a not-to-be-missed program and also includes the awarding of all the parade trophies.  Our spectacular fireworks begin at dark, which this far north is almost 10pm. The light show is synched to music, boats are out floating at anchor in the harbor, and the magic takes over. The fireworks truly are a community effort with fundraising to cover their cost taking place all year long. 4th of July Fireworks
Mark Drolson/Celebrations Inc is raising funds for the 4th of the July Fireworks in Ashland.  The City of Ashland DOES NOT pay for the fireworks show. All fireworks are paid for by local business and by individual like you. So, if you would like to make a donation, Mark has an account set up at Northern State Bank, in Ashland, under the name of Celebrations Inc. or you can drop your donation off at the Ashland Chamber office and we will make sure the donation gets to Mark Drolson. No amount is too little. If everyone that enjoys the fireworks would donate $10. That would be wonderful. If you can donate more even better! Fireworks aren’t cheap. It takes over $15,000.00 for a decent display. Mark is hoping for a great display. Thank you for helping.
