Ashland's Mural Walk From East to West The 8 block main street business district, listed on the National Register for Historic places, is the background for a fascinating walk through Ashland's history as seen through the eyes of Ashland's mural artists Kelly Meredith and Susan Prentice Martinsen. New Mural for the Ashland Mural Walk...interested in being a supporter?The Ashland Mural Walk Project is sponsoring a mural of the oredock on the east and north walls of Book World. Because of its enormous size and because we have chosen to install panels on the wall to provide for a better painting surface, this project is somewhat expensive. So we need your help! Once again, we are funding this project through brick sales. For a minimum donation of $50 you can purchase a brick in honor of your business, your family, yourself, or a departed loved one. We also have larger bricks for $200 and cornerstone bricks for $1,000. Brick order forms are available at the Chamber Office and on the Chamber website. Bricks are sold on a first come, first served basis. AMWP will take additional donations as well. Also, you are welcome to submit high quality photocopies of personal photos that are somehow connected with the oredock. These will be incorporated into a ‘Memory Border’ that encircles the main subject. With your help, this will be a great project and a wonderful asset to the Ashland area communities.
