Kid's Fishing Day at the Great Lakes Visitor Center, 9:00am-1:00pm. Kids, come fish for free! Learn to cast with spin rods or fly rods, where to fish, and what to use. The Les Voigt State Fish Hatchery is hosting its eight annual "Outdoor Extravaganza" in conjunction with the Kid's Free Fishing Weekend, June 5th. All events are free and will be held from 10am-2pm. There will be tours, casting games and demonstrations, spinner making, fly tying, fly casting demonstrations, fly fishing in the ponds, fish printing, archery lessons, a nature walk with animal track identification, Forestry booth, gift bags, prizes, and awards.
